Create, Review, and Edit User Roles

You can create user roles for easy editing of user permissions. These user roles may also be updated at any time.  The user roles will appear when adding or updating users.

1. Go to User Roles - Create user Role to enter a new role.

Enter the main information and default permissions for the lab user.  Typical roles are Lab Manager, PI, Researcher, and Limited.

2. To review and edit user roles, go to User Roles - Review User Roles.  Select the role to edit, make changes, and save as shown above.
